As you may have noticed there has been very little activity here on kociaba-fitness.com for the past sevral weeks. I could concoct some great excuses but I prefer to be honest with you.
I had a wonderful Christmas. I am truly blessed with a wonderful little family and a small handful of equally wonderful friends.

The last time I went bowling I was 12 years old. Seems like only
60 years ago. Time flies when you sit still and stare. It was at
the Secaucus Bowlarama. I bowled 200 if you add up my score for
both games. Never went back. Too social: people, beer, balls and
shoes for rent, slipping and sliding, boisterous laughter,
confusion, little pencils and score keeping and costly. I had a
quarter and a dime in my pocket and a hole in my sneakers.

Today I have some food for thought, literally. In this world of obese people everywhere, and thousands of diet books and blogs I want to put in my two cents. First I am going to piss a few people off by saying that obesity is not a disease it’s a choice. Now I am not saying that there are not people with health issues such as thyroid conditions and other medical problems that cause weight gain. What I am saying is that the majority of overweight people in this country could do something about it if they really wanted to!
