My Favorite Quick Fat Loss Secret

There are many minor adjustments you can make in your diet that will make a huge difference in reaching your fat reducing goals. Today I am going to give you the simplest fat loss "secret" I know...DRINK MORE WATER! That’s it. It couldn't be less complicated..

As a society we consume hundreds and in many cases thousands of empty calories every day!
The solution, drink water instead of sugary drinks. an 8.3 ounce Red Bull has 27 grams of sugar, a16 ounce can of Rockstar Energy Drink has 61 grams, a 12 ounce Coke has 39 grams, a 20 ounce bottle of Minute Maid Lemonade has 67 grams, and a 32ounce Big Gulp has 91 grams. 1 gram of sugar contains 4 calories. You do the math. If you go for the 44 ounce "super gulp" you are getting over 500 calories! That’s close to a quarter of the total calories most people should consume in the entire day!

You don't drink that stuff you say. Only fruit juices you say. Well it’s true that fruit juices are a healthier option than sodas and energy drinks however when it comes to the sugar they are no better.
A 16 ounce bottle of orange juice contains 48 grams of sugar and the same size bottle of apple juice contains 52 grams. The apple juice contains the same amount of sugar per ounce as Coke!

While vitamin waters are a much lower sugar option they are not totally devoid of it. A 20 ounce bottle of one popular brand has 33 grams of sugar.

Sugar causes the body's cells to become resistant to insulin, which is associated with fat gain and low energy levels. It should be quite obvious that replacing these concentrated sugar drinks with water will drastically cut your total calorie consumption and create a dramatic decrease in fat in a very short time!

NOTE; I didn't even mention those popular coffee drinks. Frappuccino’s and the like are not only full of sugar they are high in fat as well. check out this link on the 20 Worst Drinks in America. I bet there's at least one on the list you partake of regularly.

Great article!

I totally agree about the water and weight loss, it definitely does help. If I mad add, hot water and lemon is a great fat burner as well (that is my early morning drink).

I love this article! I am a diabetic, and got a few ideas for other things to drink that don't have a lot of sugar in them, or have no sugar at all! Thanks Bill!
